Update on COVID-19 Response

As we enter the fourth and final quarter of 2020, we know that this year has been a challenging year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As with most disasters and crisis’, it is Humanitarian Organisations and Humanitarians themselves who find themselves at the forefront of the necessary response to provide aid and save lives. We know how hard Humanitarians are working right now and the whole team at LLA would like to thank you for your efforts. This article from Relief International highlights how frontline Humanitarian are responding to the COVID-19 crisis

At LLA, we are continuing to operate as usual and providing our normal service to students, graduates and those looking to join our Programmes. Having worked from home since March, we will soon be switching to Remote Working on a full-time basis. A full blog about these changes and what it means will be posted later this week.

Further changes to Humanitarian Essentials Logistics Module (HELM) Events in Africa

As Africa continues to battle against COVID-19, we have followed the health and safety advice and continued to make further changes to our planned schedule for our face-to-face HELM Events.

We hope to be able to return to Sierra Leone in November and Kenya in December but this will depend on the situation with the virus and also travel and quarantine procedures. We will continue to monitor the current situation and will update our LLA Events page with more information as we get it.

COMING SOON – Build Your Qualification

During Autumn 2020, we will be launching our new initiative called Build Your Qualification which will be an alternative to paying for our Commercial Logistics qualifications in full.

Build Your Qualification will allow students to gradually complete modules that can be moulded into a formal CILT or IoSCM Qualification at Levels 2, 3 and 5. This will act as an alternate route to the Commercial Qualification students want, paying for and completing units as LLA Certified Online Short Courses and converting them into a Full Regulated Qualification.

Students will be able to learn at their own pace, with two years to complete and convert the units required. It will be an ideal option for those who want to spread the cost, allowing students to pay for each LLA Short Course individually and build towards a Full Regulated Qualification.

Build Your Qualification will replace the current instalment options we provide for our CILT and IoSCM Qualifications. Upon completion of the chosen route, these LLA Short Courses can be converted into a Regulated Qualification by paying the required administration fee. Please contact us directly for pricing details.
